AN ACT REPEALING CHAPTER 10, PUBLIC-LOCAL LAWS OF 1941, ABOLISHING TAX PENALTIES, INSOFAR AS THE SAME APPLIES TO MACON COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. That Chapter 10, Public-Local Laws of 1941, be and the same is hereby repealed in its entirety, insofar as the same applies to Macon County. The purpose of this Act is to make the provisions of G. S. 105-345 relating to penalties and discounts for non-payment of taxes applicable to Macon County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
