HOUSE BILL 742
AN ACT PROVIDING THAT COSTS OF MEALS FURNISHED TO PRISONERS IN THE PERQUIMANS COUNTY JAIL SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE BILL OF COSTS IN CRIMINAL CASES.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. That the costs of meals furnished to a prisoner in the Perquimans County jail shall be included in the bill of costs and paid by the defendant upon conviction.
Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
