AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND EMPOWER THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE TOWN OF FUQUAY SPRINGS TO ACCEPT AFFIDAVITS AND BONDS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Chief of Police of the Town of Fuquay Springs is hereby authorized and empowered to take affidavits in connection with criminal warrants sworn out in the Recorder's Court for Middle Creek, Holly Springs, Swift Creek and Panther Branch Townships at Fuquay Springs, and is further authorized and empowered to take and accept appearance and recognizance bonds from any person or persons who may comply with the laws of the State of North Carolina in such cases made and provided, for the appearance of such person or persons in any court in Wake County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
