SENATE BILL 318

 

 

AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE TAKING OF GAME FROM PUBLIC HIGHWAYS IN EDGECOMBE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, take or kill any species of game, or attempt to hunt, take or kill any species of game, by the use of firearms from the right-of-way of any public highway, roadway, or other publicly-maintained thoroughfare.

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply only to Edgecombe County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 16th day of June, 1961.
