HOUSE BILL 1106

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1189, SESSION LAWS OF 1953, RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF ELLERBE IN RICHMOND COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 1189, Session Laws of 1953, is hereby amended by striking out the words and figures "one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00)", as they appear in lines 7 and 8 of Section 1 thereof, and substituting therefor the words and figures "one hundred eighty dollars ($180.00)".

Sec. 1.1. Chapter 1179, Session Laws of 1953, is hereby further amended by striking out the words and figures "two hundred dollars ($200.00)" as they appear in line 5 of Section 1 thereof, and substituting therefor the words and figures "two hundred ninety dollars ($290.00)".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 16th day of June, 1961.
