HOUSE BILL 1139

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 160-227.1 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 160, ARTICLE 18, PART 3A OF THE GENERAL STATUTES SHALL BE APPLICABLE TO LENOIR COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 160-227.1, as the same presently appears in the Cumulative Supplement to Volume 3C of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by deleting the word and punctuation "Lenoir," as the same appear in line 5 thereof immediately after the word "Lee" and immediately before the word "Macon".

Sec. 2. The intent and purpose of this Act is to provide that the provisions of Chapter 160, Article 18, Part 3A of the General Statutes, entitled "Subdivisions", shall be applicable to Lenoir County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
