SENATE BILL 37
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 108 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES OF NORTH CAROLINA SO AS TO EXEMPT CERTAIN COLLEGES FROM LICENSE REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC SOLICITATION FOR FUNDS.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. G.S. 108-84 is hereby amended by changing the period appearing after the word "clergy" at the end thereof to a semicolon and adding the following language and punctuation:
"provided further, that nothing in this Article shall apply to any solicitation or appeal by any college holding membership in the North Carolina College Conference."
Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
