AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 160-181.2, SO AS TO EXEMPT THE MUNICIPALITIES IN RICHMOND COUNTY FROM THE PROVISIONS THEREOF.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 160-181.2, as the same appears in the 1961 Cumulative Supplement to Volume 3C of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by inserting the word "Richmond" between the words "Person" and "Tyrrell" in line 5 of the last paragraph thereof.

Sec. 1½. Any ordinance enacted by any municipality in Richmond County pursuant to G. S. 160-181.2, as heretofore applicable, is henceforth of no force and effect.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
