AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE $16,000.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT FOR RICHMOND, SCOTLAND, MOORE, LEE, MONTGOMERY, CHATHAM, ANSON AND HOKE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000.00) to the Division of Forestry, Department of Conservation and Development, to be expended for the purchase of one (1) medium, light Caterpillar tractor to be used for fighting forest fires in the Counties of Richmond, Scotland, Moore, Lee, Montgomery, Chatham, Anson and Hoke.

Sec. 2.  The above appropriation shall be in addition to, and not a part of, appropriations to the Division of Forestry for purchase of equipment.

Sec. 3.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
