AN ACT TO MAKE AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR A FOREST RANGER IN PERSON COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Conservation and Development out of the General Fund of the State the sum of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1965, and ending June 30, 1966, and the sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1966, and ending June 30, 1967, for the purpose of paying the salary and providing the necessary equipment, supplies, and office space and operating expenses for a forester for Person County.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective July 1, 1965.
