AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE DIVISION OF PROFITS FROM THE OPERATION OF COUNTY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL STORES IN PERSON COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Person County is hereby authorized to divide Alcoholic Beverage Control profits paid into its General Fund under Section 18-57 of the General Statutes of North Carolina with the City of Roxboro in the following proportions: Person County, seventy per cent (70%), and the City of Roxboro thirty per cent (30%).

Sec. 2. Payment according to this plan of division of profits shall be made quarterly by the County Auditor after the Person County Board of Alcoholic Beverage Control pays such profits into the Person County General Fund pursuant to the provisions of Section 18-57 of the General Statutes of North Carolina.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be retroactive from January 1, 1964.
