HOUSE BILL 335

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE FILLING OF VACANCIES IN THE OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MECKLENBURG COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G. S. 153-6 is hereby amended by inserting in line eight in the list of counties enumerated therein, the word "Mecklenburg," and thereby providing that the Board of County Commissioners shall make appointments to the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners to fill vacancies for unexpired terms.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
