AN ACT TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF HOBGOOD, HALIFAX COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS THEREOF.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Charter of the Town of Hobgood, Halifax County, is hereby amended as follows:

"Effective July 1, 1965, the Mayor of the Town of Hobgood shall be paid a salary of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per month, and the Commissioners of the Town shall be paid a salary of ten dollars ($10.00) per month."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1965.
