HOUSE BILL 514

AN ACT TO REPEAL THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF LYNN IN POLK COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 38 of the Private Laws of 1911, as amended, is hereby repealed, it being the intent and purpose of this Act to discontinue the existence of the Town of Lynn in Polk County as an incorporated town.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 28th day of April, 1965.
