SENATE BILL 680

 

 

AN ACT EXPRESSLY EXCLUDING THE TOWN OF ERWIN IN HARNETT COUNTY FROM THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 903, SESSION LAWS OF 1957, AND APPLYING THE DISCOUNT AND PENALTY PROVISIONS OF SECTION 105-345 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES TO TAXES ASSESSED OR LEVIED BY SAID TOWN.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The provisions of Chapter 903, Session Laws of 1957, shall not apply to taxes assessed or levied by the Town of Erwin in Harnett County.

Sec. 2. All of the provisions of Section 105-345 of the General Statutes relating to discount and penalty in payment or prepayment of taxes shall apply to all taxes assessed or levied in said Town of Erwin.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in force and effect from and after its ratification.
