AN ACT TO ABOLISH THE OFFICE OF JAILOR, IN CLEVELAND COUNTY, AS CREATED UNDER CHAPTER 207, PUBLIC-LOCAL AND PRIVATE LAWS OF 1939.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 207, Public-Local and Private Laws of 1939, is hereby repealed, and the general laws of the State of North Carolina, relating to jailors and jails, shall be applicable to Cleveland County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1967.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 7th day of April, 1967.
