AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 130, SESSION LAWS OF 1967, BY APPOINTING WILLIAM BRANTLEY TWIFORD TO THE DARE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 130, Session Laws of 1967, entitled "An Act to Appoint Certain Members of the Boards of Education of the Respective Counties of North Carolina and to Fix Their Terms of Office", is hereby amended by appointing to the Dare County Board of Education William Brantley Twiford to fill the unexpired term of Horace B. Hooper, who resigned.

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply only to Dare County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be effective immediately upon its ratification.
