HOUSE BILL 81

 

 

AN ACT TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION OF THE CHAIRMEN AND MEMBERS OF THE JONES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND THE JONES COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION.

 

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The compensation of the chairmen of the Jones County Board of Commissioners and the Jones County Board of Education is hereby increased from fifty dollars ($50.00) to one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month each, and the compensation of each other member of the Jones County Board of Commissioners and the Jones County Board of Education is hereby increased from twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month each. This compensation shall be in addition to mileage allowances now authorized by law.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
