SENATE BILL 395

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 243 OF THE PUBLIC-LOCAL LAWS OF 1911 AS PERTAINING TO THE RECORDER'S OF CLEVELAND COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 243 of the Public-Local Laws of 1911 as amended are hereby further amended so as to provide:

(a)         that the Recorder's Court of Cleveland County may sit in any public building in Cleveland County; and

(b)        that cases involving trial by jury shall not be heard in this Court.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after ratification of this Act.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 18th day of May, 1967.
