AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1004 OF THE 1965 SESSION LAW AS THE SAME APPLIES TO DUPLIN COUNTY AND ITS SEVERAL MUNICIPALITIES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Amend Chapter 1004 of the 1965 Session Laws, Section 6 fourth paragraph, second line, by deleting the words "governmental purpose" and add in lieu thereof the following language: "public purposes of the Municipality."

Sec. 2. Amend Chapter 1004 of the 1965 Session Laws, Section 6, fifth paragraph, second line by deleting the words "governmental purpose" and adding in lieu thereof the following language: "public purpose of Duplin County".

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
