AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 231 OF THE 1943 SESSION LAWS OF NORTH CAROLINA, RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF GRIMESLAND IN PITT COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 5 of Chapter 231 of the 1943 Session Laws of North Carolina is hereby amended by striking out the words "five dollars" in line 3 of said Section 5 and inserting in lieu thereof the words "ten dollars".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
