AN ACT TO REPEAL G.S. 160-13, G.S. 160-14, G.S. 160-15, AND G.S. 160-16, RELATING TO MAYOR'S COURTS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 160-13, G.S. 160-14, G.S. 160-15, and G.S. 160-16 are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective in accordance with the following schedule:

(a)        Upon its ratification, in those counties comprising the first, the twelfth, the fourteenth, the sixteenth, the twenty-fifth, and the thirtieth judicial districts;

(b)        On the first Monday in December, 1968, in those counties comprising the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, the eighth, the ninth, the tenth, the eleventh, the thirteenth, the fifteenth, the eighteenth, the twentieth, the twenty-first, the twenty-fourth, the twenty-sixth, the twenty-seventh, and the twenty-ninth judicial districts;

(c)        On the first Monday in December, 1970, in those counties comprising the seventeenth, the nineteenth, the twenty-second, the twenty-third, and the twenty-eighth judicial districts.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 20th day of June, 1967.
