HOUSE BILL 1071

AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE REGIONAL SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANNING REVOLVING FUND.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State of North Carolina the sum of $200,000 to be paid on September 1, 1971 to the Regional Sewage Disposal Planning Revolving Fund in the North Carolina Board of Water and Air Resources for the biennium 1971-1973, to be used to aid municipalities, counties, sanitary districts, or other political subdivisions of the State, or combinations thereof, in financing comprehensive planning and related engineering work on regional sewage disposal systems.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective on September 1, 1971.
