HOUSE BILL 681

 

AN ACT PROHIBITING THE HUNTING WITH RIFLES OF DEER FROM HIGHWAYS IN MOORE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  It shall be unlawful to hunt, kill, take or attempt to hunt, kill or take deer by or with the use of rifles from any public road, highway, street or thoroughfare in Moore County.

Sec. 2.  Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not in excess of fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisoned not in excess of 30 days, or both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of the court.

Sec. 3.  This act shall be effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 21st day of June, 1971.
