HOUSE BILL 947

AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNOR'S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ON THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE HANDICAPPED SHALL BE AUTHORIZED TO RECEIVE PER DIEM ALLOWANCE AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACTUAL EXPENSES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 143-283.9 is amended by deleting the last sentence of the first paragraph, and substituting in lieu thereof the following sentence: "Members of the Executive Committee shall receive the same per diem allowance, and shall be reimbursed for actual travel and subsistence expense, in the same manner and amount as members of other State boards, commissions, and committees."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This act shall be effective from July 1, 1971.
