AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 93B OF THE GENERAL STATUTES TO PROHIBIT AN INDIVIDUAL FROM BEING A MEMBER OF MORE THAN ONE OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING BOARD.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 93B-5 is hereby amended by adding a new sentence at the end thereof to read as follows:

"No individual may be a member of more than one occupational licensing board at any one time."

Sec. 2.  Nothing in this act shall prohibit any person from serving as an ex officio member of any board.

Sec. 3.  This act shall become effective on January 1, 1975.
