SENATE BILL 709

AN ACT TO AMEND G.S. 66-58 RELATING TO THE SALE OF MERCHANDISE BY STATE GOVERNMENTAL UNITS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 66-58(b)(8) is amended by deleting the period at the end of said subsection, substituting a comma therefor, and adding the following:

"Nor to the comprehensive student health services or the comprehensive student infirmaries maintained by the constituent institutions of The University of North Carolina."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 23rd day of June, 1977.
