SENATE BILL 285

AN ACT TO ALLOW THE NEW HANOVER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO DELEGATE APPROVAL OF PERMITS FOR STORAGE AND SALE OF EXPLOSIVES AND THE EXHIBITION OF PYROTECHNICS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 14-284 is amended by adding immediately after the words "board of commissioners" the words "(or its delegate)".

Sec. 2.  G.S. 14-410 and G.S. 14-413 are each amended by adding immediately after the words "board of county commissioners", the words "(or its delegate)".

Sec. 3.  This act applies to New Hanover County only.

Sec. 4.  This act is effective upon ratification.
