CHAPTER 39
AN ACT TO AMEND THE EXTENSION OF BEAR HUNTING SEASON IN PASQUOTANK AND CAMDEN COUNTIES AND TO INCLUDE CHOWAN COUNTY IN THAT EXTENSION OF THE SEASON.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. Chapter 220 of the 1993 Session Laws reads as rewritten:
"Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of
law, the season for hunting black bear shall run from two days the
Friday and Saturday prior to the date established by the Wildlife Resources
Commission as the start of bear season until the date established by the
Wildlife Resources Commission as the end of bear season.
Sec. 2. This act applies only to Pasquotank and
Camden Pasquotank, Camden, and Chowan counties.
Sec. 3. This act is effective upon ratification."
