SENATE BILL 170

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1160 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1953 RELATING TO THE FILING OF PAPERS IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURT SO AS TO MAKE THE SAME APPLICABLE TO DUPLIN COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 1160 of the Session Laws of 1953 is hereby amended by inserting the word "Duplin," immediately following the word "Mecklenburg," in line 1 of Section I and immediately following the word "Mecklenburg," in lines I and 2 of Section 2 of said Act.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1959.
