AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 105-422 RELATING TO THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON ENFORCEMENT OF TAX LIENS SO AS TO EXEMPT STOKES COUNTY FROM THE PROVISION OF THE STATUTE.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G. S. 105-422, as the same appears in Replacement Volume 2C of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by adding immediately following the comma after the word "Scotland" and immediately preceding the word "Vance", in line 16 of said Section, the word "Stokes,".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
