HOUSE BILL 831
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 1095, SESSION LAWS OF 1947, RELATING TO THE MAYOR'S COURT OF THE TOWN OF FRANKLINTON IN FRANKLIN COUNTY.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 1095, Session Laws of 1947, is hereby amended by adding at the end of the paragraph numbered "9." of subsection 1 of said Section, the following:
"The Assistant Clerk of the Town of Franklinton shall be authorized to act as Assistant Ex Officio Clerk of the Franklinton Mayor's Court and shall have the authority to sign warrants and to perform all other duties now required by the clerk of said court. Deputy clerks of said court, when assigned, shall be authorized to sign warrants and perform such other duties as shall be delegated to them by the governing body of the Town of Franklinton."
Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
