HOUSE BILL 11

AN ACT RELATING TO THE SALARY AND EXPENSE ALLOWANCE OF THE FIRST DEPUTY SHERIFF OF YANCEY COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. In addition to the salary now being received by the first deputy sheriff of Yancey County, he shall also receive an additional one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per month for services performed in his official capacity, said amount to be payable out of the general fund of the county.

In addition to the increase in salary herein provided for, the first deputy sheriff of Yancey County shall receive the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month for travel and other expenses incurred in the performance of his official duties, said amount to be payable out of the general fund of the county.

Sec. 2. The increase in the salary and expense allowance provided for in this Act shall be retroactive to the first Monday in December, 1962.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
