HOUSE BILL 556

 

 

AN ACT RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF AN ASSISTANT CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURT OF YANCEY COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Clerk of the Superior Court of Yancey County is authorized to appoint an Assistant Clerk of the Superior Court who shall receive as compensation for his services an annual amount of not to exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000.00), the amount of such compensation to be determined by the Clerk of the Superior Court and to be paid out of the general fund of said county.

Sec. 2. Chapter 710 of the Session Laws of 1961 is repealed.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
