HOUSE BILL 1240

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 452 OF THE PRIVATE LAWS OF 1913, BEING THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF SHARPSBURG, RELATING TO ELECTIONS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 452 of the Private Laws of North Carolina of 1913, being the Charter of the Town of Sharpsburg, is hereby amended by striking out in Section 14(g) the words "nine o'clock in the forenoon until three o'clock in the afternoon" and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "6:30 o'clock A.M. until 6:30 o'clock P.M."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall apply only to the Town of Sharpsburg in Nash, Edgecombe and Wilson Counties.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
