HOUSE BILL 883

AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE 18 OF CHAPTER 160 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES SO AS TO MAKE CERTAIN PROVISIONS REGULATING THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND APPLICABLE TO THE TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G. S. 160-227.1, as the same appears in the 1964 Replacement Volume of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by striking out the comma immediately following the word "Bladen" in line two and inserting the words "except the Town of Elizabethtown and land within one mile in all directions of its corporate limits,".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
