SENATE BILL 401

 

 

AN ACT TO MAKE AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MEDICAL CARE COMMISSION OF NORTH CAROLINA FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MENTAL RETARDATION FACILITIES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the State to the North Carolina Medical Care Commission the sum of ninety-five thousand three hundred forty-two dollars ($95,342.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1965 and ending June 30, 1966, and the sum of one hundred seventeen thousand eight hundred thirteen dollars ($117,813.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1966 and ending June 30, 1967, to be expended by the North Carolina Medical Care Commission on a matching funds basis with the Federal Government for planning and constructing day care or activity centers, small residential centers, workshops, and camps for the mentally retarded and other diagnostic and therapeutic facilities.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective July 1, 1965.
