SENATE BILL 672

AN ACT AMENDING CHAPTER 737 OF THE 1965 SESSION LAWS RELATING TO ASSISTANCE TO VOTERS IN CHEROKEE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 737 of the 1965 Session Laws is amended by striking the word "registrar" appearing in line 9 thereof and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "Democratic or Republican Judge, in the voter's discretion,".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
