AN ACT TO AMEND G.S. 20-20 TO REQUIRE SURRENDER OF ALL NORTH CAROLINA DRIVERS' LICENSES IN THE POSSESSION OF ANY PERSON UPON CANCELLATION, REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF LICENSE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 20-20, as the same appears in the 1965 Replacement Volume 1C of the General Statutes, is hereby rewritten to read as follows:

"G.S. 20-20.  Whenever any vehicle operator's license issued by the Department is cancelled, revoked or suspended under the terms of this Chapter, the licensee shall surrender to the Department all vehicle operator's licenses and duplicates thereof issued to him by the Department which are in his possession."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
