HOUSE BILL 696

AN ACT RELATING TO THE PUBLICATION, OR POSTING IN LIEU OF PUBLICATION, OF THE MONTHLY DISBURSEMENTS OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CASWELL COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Caswell County may, in their discretion, publish monthly, in a newspaper having general circulation in said County, a statement showing the disbursements made by said Board at each monthly meeting.

Sec. 2. In the event the Board, in its discretion, chooses not to publish a monthly statement showing the disbursements made by said Board, it shall, in lieu thereof, post monthly, at the courthouse door a statement showing the disbursements made by said Board.

Sec. 3. The statement required hereby, whether published or posted, shall be signed by the clerk of said Board and shall contain the name of the party to whom paid, the amount paid and shall state for what purpose.

Sec. 4. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 5. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after ratification.
