AN ACT TO PROHIBIT PARKING OR LEAVING MOTOR VEHICLES UNATTENDED ON ANY STATE HIGHWAY ON BOGUE BANKS IN CARTERET COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any Person to leave any motor vehicle parked and unattended on or over any paved portion of any State highway on Bogue Banks in Carteret County. Any motor vehicle parked and left unattended shall upon order of any law enforcement officer be towed to some suitable place for safekeeping. Provided, that the owner of the vehicle may redeem same by payment of the towing charges.

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply only to Carteret County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
