HOUSE BILL 659

 

 

AN ACT RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE FULL-TIME CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF HAYWOOD COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 77 of the 1963 Session Laws is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. Section 3 of Chapter 173, Session Laws of 1959, is hereby rewritten to read as follows:

"Sec. 3. Beginning on July 1, 1967, the salary of the full-time chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Haywood County, acting in the capacity of county manager and performing the duties of tax supervisor of said county, shall be seventy-two hundred dollars ($7200.00) per year, to be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county."

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1967.
