HOUSE BILL 126

AN ACT RELATING TO MILEAGE ALLOWANCE FOR LEE COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 147-8 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, as the same applies to Lee County, is hereby amended by striking out the words "seven cents (7¢) per mile" appearing in the last two lines thereof and substituting in lieu thereof the following, "ten cents (10¢) per mile".

Sec. 2. Section 147-9 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, as the same applies to Lee County, is hereby amended by striking out the words "seven cents (7¢) per mile" appearing in line 6 thereof and substituting in lieu thereof the following, "ten cents (10¢) per mile".

Sec. 3. This Act shall apply only to Lee County.

Sec. 4. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 5. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
