AN ACT RELATING TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE BOARDS OF COMMISSIONERS OF SURF CITY AND TOPSAIL BEACH TO REGULATE AND PROHIBIT SURFING ON THE WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Boards of Commissioners of the Towns of Surf City and Topsail Beach in Pender County are hereby authorized to adopt comprehensive ordinances regulating and prohibiting surfing on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean adjoining or bounding the corporate limits of said Towns.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
