HOUSE BILL 950

AN ACT TO ALLOW THE SHERIFF OF CALDWELL COUNTY A FEE OF TWO DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS ($2.50) FOR WEAPONS PERMITS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1. G.S. 14-404 as the same appears in the 1969 Replacement Volume 1B of the General Statutes is hereby amended so that the last sentence thereof shall read:

"The sheriff shall charge for his services upon issuing such license or permit a fee of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50)."

Sec. 2. This act shall apply only to Caldwell County.

Sec. 3. This act shall become effective upon ratification.
