AN ACT TO DEFINE THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF TROUTMAN IN IREDELL COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Section 2.1 of the Charter of the Town of Troutman, being Chapter 144, Session Laws of 1981, is rewritten to read:

"Sec. 2.1. Corporate boundaries. The corporate boundaries of the Town of Troutman shall be as shown on a survey and plat by Wesley E. Sprinkle, R.L.S., dated December 23, 1982 and recorded in Book 16 at Page 87 in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Iredell County. An official map or description showing the current town boundaries shall be maintained permanently in the office of the Town Clerk, and shall be available for public inspection. Immediately upon alteration of the corporate limits made pursuant to law, the appropriate change to the official map or description of the town shall be made."

Sec. 2.  All acts and local ordinances fixing and defining the corporate boundaries of the Town of Troutman are hereby repealed, insofar as they conflict with the provisions of this act.

Sec. 3.  This act is effective upon ratification.
