HOUSE BILL 363

 

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE WILDLIFE RESOURCES COMMISSION TO CONDUCT MANAGED HUNTS ON GAME LANDS AND TO CHARGE FEES FOR PROCESSING APPLICATIONS AND USE OF RELATED FACILITIES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 113-264 is hereby amended by adding a new subsection (d) at the end thereof to read as follows:

"(d)      The Wildlife Resources Commission may schedule managed hunts for any species of big game to be held on game lands. Participants in such hunts shall be selected at random by computer from properly licensed applicants. A nonrefundable fee of five dollars ($5.00) will be required of each applicant to defray the cost of processing the applications."

Sec. 2.  This act is effective upon ratification.
