HOUSE BILL 2111

 

AN ACT TO CHANGE THE PAY DATE FOR THE HAYWOOD COUNTY SCHOOLS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Section 1 of Chapter 399 of the 1989 Session Laws reads as rewritten:

"Section 1.  Notwithstanding G.S. 115C-302(a) and G.S. 115C-316(a), the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and Haywood County Boards Board of Education may pay their its academic teachers, occupational education teachers, guidance counselors, assistant principals, and other instructional personnel employed for less than 12 months of the school year on the 16th 13th day of each month during which they are employed."

Sec. 2.  This act applies only to the Haywood County School Administrative Unit.

Sec. 3.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1990.
