GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 272
AN ACT TO ABOLISH THE VACANT OFFICE OF CORONER IN SCOTLAND COUNTY.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. The office of coroner in Scotland County is abolished.
Sec. 2. Chapter 152 of the General Statutes is not applicable to Scotland County.
Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon the expiration of the current term of office of the Coroner of Scotland County.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 5th day of July, 1993.
